They call it the road to Utopia.
But as an veteran cop, I only see the truth: rising unemployment, expanding slums, and a gaping chasm between the rich and poor.
All "achievements" of the conglomerates pulling the strings.

I planned to coast through my final years. A quiet retirement.
Then came the station's "Efficiency Reform." Replacing humans with synthetics.
So much for my pension.
It’s just a corrupt handshake between the Chief and the Corps—easier to control a force that doesn't ask questions.

I saw through the Chief’s scheme.
I was sick of the rot in the system.
Before they could kick me out, I walked to the cells. To the felon I’d just booked.
The one who shattered the "Android Rights Protection Act."
I unlocked the gate.
"I understand you now."
He lowered his mask, revealing a devilish smile.
"Go. Burn those blue-bloods to ash."
...But a pact with the devil always has a price...

"Every mask comes with a price."
The longer you wear a mask, the more it corrupts your perception. Visual contamination spreads across your screen, enemies spawn in the shadows, and your vision narrows as layers of reality fade away.
Each mask deteriorates differently - some blind you with pollution, others summon threats, while the sonar mask strips away your ability to see the world layer by layer.
Survival demands adaptation. Switch masks frequently to let them recover, but choose wisely - every change resets your deterioration, yet forces you into a different nightmare.
Wear it too long, and the mask becomes your prison.

他摘下面具，向你露出了恶魔般的微笑
“去把那些蓝血人烧成灰吧。”


“不过，和恶魔做契约总是有代价的......”

“凡戴面具，必付代价。”

面具佩戴越久，你的感知就越发扭曲。视觉污染侵蚀着屏幕，暗影之中强敌滋生；随着现实的表象层层褪去，你的视野将步步紧缩。

每一张面具的崩坏方式各异——有的以污秽致盲，有的招致杀机，而声纳面具则会将你眼中的世界一层层剥离。

想活命，就得学会适应。频繁更换面具让它们自行修复，但选择时务必慎重——每一次切换固然能重置崩坏，却也意味着踏入另一场噩梦。

切记，若贪恋面具过久，它终将成为囚禁你的牢笼。
